Massachusetts Foreclosures Affect School Districts
With foreclosures in Massachusetts hitting in some of the neighborhoods with the worst schools, it’s apparent that some fo the concerns expressed in the video below, will be hitting home soon. Foreclosures have blighted areas like Boston, and Dorchester and due to the ongoing financial slump, many families have been forced to move and relocate. Ben Tracy reports that many school districts have witnessed a mass exodus of students — and tax revenue.
